Hollywood, industry
known for extravagant concepts and perfection, has contributed a lot for
creating demolish image of Pakistan in western world. The industry which never
stops innovating and with a reputation as a liberals, they actually behave as
conservatives when it comes to Pakistan. Most of the films scripts relaying on
a statement “Pakistanis are terrorists”.
The War Within:
It depicts
life of a fundamentalist Pakistani suicide bomber living among his victims and
plans to launch a ground war on the United States. This movie suggests Pakistan
is responsible for everything happens in America after 9/11.
Zero dark thirty:
Recent
propaganda against Pakistan is shown in Zero Dark Thirty; its story revolves
around CIA’s search and killing of Osama bin laden. Of course, for most of
Pakistanis this movie is only “dramatization”, so nothing worthwhile in this
film.
G.I.Joe Retaliation:
The most
discussed Hollywood movie which was banned in Pakistan due to country’s
negative depiction. It’s based on fictional portrayal on the international standing
of Pakistan regarding issue of war on terror.
There are
many other movies in which Hollywood went to great lengths ,even creative some
might say, to express negativity against Pakistan like in Rambo
3, eagle eye etc…….. Main aim of
Hollywood is to represent Pakistan in front of the world as a failed state and
the same is applicable to desperate Indians. IN SHA ALLAH they will not succeed.
